Anyone interested in baking with cookie molds will want to pick up Anne Watson’s second book, Cookie Molds Around the Year: An Almanac of Molds, Cookies, and Other Treats for Christmas, New Year's, Valentine's Day, Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Other Holidays, and Every Season
. The book not only has extra hints on baking with cookie molds, but new recipes to expand the repertoire so make you an expert when using the molds, as well as sources to find new molds.

Watson is an expert, and her two books are very helpful. The recipes are written in an easy-to-follow manner, and they are recipes for cookies that will appeal to every cookie aficionado. The photographs of both the molds and cookies are professional and beautiful, and make this a fun book to have on your cookbook shelf.

This cookbook has ideas for every month of the year, and molds that will help celebrate holidays with festive cookies. Watson has also included several recipes for beautiful cookie tartlets which are perfect for a fancy cookie tray. There are also recipes and instructions for cookie stamps, which are a bit easier, albeit not as fancy, than the actual stamps.

All told, anyone who loves beautiful molded cookies will want to pick up a copy of this excellent cookbook.
